Nakon još jednog boldering maratona u Novom Sadu, kući se vraćamo pozlaćeni. Naši rekreativci Snježana Ivetić i Ljubiša Sajići aka Moljac su osvojili zlatne medalje u svojoj kategoriji. Ovom prilikom im čestitamo i uskoro ih očekujemo u takmičarskoj kategoriji!

Come and discover B&H's rocks and boulders.

A bouldering sector recently discovered gave us the idea to make you know and discover the surroundings of Banja Luka, north of B&H, through a meeting of all interested climbers on the first week end of June.

For two days, come and climb as much boulders as possible on local limestone, around the ruins of the ancient Zvečaj fortress. At the entrance of Vrbas Canyon, the place is an ideal start to go walking across the canyon and discover its cliffs.

The competition itself will occur on 5^th and 6^th of June 2010. After this, we will offer the possibility to all interested people to move the camp and discover another area, a few kilometres farer, called Kameni Most. This time you will need your rope. Local people will guide you on this area, and maybe others if bolting is going ok ...

No problems for tents, campgrounds are planned on each area. But you will be responsible of your own food. On each place you will find a small grocery, and a spring for water in Kameni Most.

11.06. Friday (afternoon and evening):

• welcoming and greeting of participants at the campgrounds

12.06. Saturday:

• 10h-11h : end of registration and distribution of the climbing guide
• 11h-12h : presentation of boulders and explanation of rules
• 12h-20h : first part of the competitions
• 20h-22h : chilling and eating
• 22h : camp fire

13.06. Sunday:

• 9h-13h : second part of competition
• 14h : announcement of results

Besides the competition, it will also be possible to try some (ultimate?) routes specially bolted for the event.

After the competition: as already been said, we plan to move the camp to Kameni Most to climb routes and discover new things ...

Boldering maraton u Novom Sadu je okupio veliki broj penjača iz BiH, Hrvatske, Slovenije i Srbije, ukupno 63 muškarca i 29 djevojaka.

Sve pohvale organizatorima i uređivačima smjerova, koji su nam omogućili da uživamo u interesantnim i kreativnim smjerovima, raznih težina i stilova. Ukupno 63 smjera su prouzrokovala upalu mišića kod skoro svih takmičara. E to je bio dobar trening.

Dana 09.11.2008. održano je težinsko otvoreno takmičenje Banja Luka 2008. Samo takmičenje je okupilo veliki broj penjača iz čitave BiH i Srbije, tačnije njih 51, koji su se takmičili u četiri kategorije: juniori i juniorke i senior i seniorke. Očekivano najveći broj takmičara je bio u seniorskoj kategoriji njih tačno 30. Učestvovalo je 5 klubova iz Srbije i 5 klubova iz BiH. Evo i fotografija i pregleda rezultata po kategorijama.

At the last round of Championship of B&H in sport climbing, climbers of climbing club Extreme have made a considerable accomplishment by taking the third(Snježana Ivetić) and fourth(Marija Duvnjak) place in the woman’s category and second(Igor Vukić) and sixth(Nebojša Šljukić) place in the men’s category. We should also point out that four climbers from Banjaluka (two from CC Extreme and two from SCC Solo) have made it into finals u the men’s category, which shows the tendency that Banjaluka is slowly but securely becoming the center of sport climbing in RS and B&H. At the competition held in Banjaluka on 2. December 2007 in Banjaluka, a total of 62 competitors participated, which makes it the biggest competition of it’s kind in Bosnia so far. The competitors were classified in four categories: junior male, junior female, men and women. A number of competitors from Serbia also participated.

Climbing club Extreme would like to thank all of those who made this competition possible, and they are:

Climbing club “Extreme” invites you to participate in the second round of the Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on Sunday, 2nd December 2008 in the sport gym of  Sokolski dom in Banjaluka (str. Marije Bursać 18) beginning at 12 o’clock. Competition will be IN-LEAD with categories: youth, male and female (up to 14 years of age) and men and women (14 and above).

Routesetting and judging: CC “Extreme” and the Sport climbing commission of the MU of B&H

The wall: plywood, hight cca. 7,5m and length 8m and 9m (overhang)

There is no cortication for competitors (if the registration was within the deadline)

All competitors that registeron the day of the competition, pay cortication fee of 5KM. Registration email should contain: first and last name, date of birth for every individual competitor and info about their club (name, place, country). After sending your email you will receive a confirmation of registration. Rgistered competitors apply for the competition before the competition start from 11:00 to 11:30, and the isolation closes at 12:00.
