Zahvaljujući organizaciji Humanity in action, proveo sam nezaboravan mjesec dana u kulturnom-administrativnom centru Danske, Kopenhagenu. Tamo sam upoznao super ljude, poslušao zanimljiva predavanja, ali što je mnogo interesantnije za ovaj sajt, upoznao Dansku penjačku scenu. Iako je najviši vrh Danske 171m.n.v. i uprkos činjenici da nemaju nijedno prirodno penjalište, u Danskoj postoji veliki broj penjača. S obzirom na tu činjenicu, oni uglavnom posjećuju penjališta u Švedskoj i Norveškoj, najbliže je nekih sat i po od Kopenhagena.

And how long did Zuba and me make plans to do our first “trad” ascent. Did you ever have that feeling that you’re trying to make plans for all the thing you want to do, but eventually you negotiate and accomplish those for which you made no plans or preparations.

That was the case yesterday when Zuba and I quickly arranged a visit to Stone bridge. Everything went relatively fast and without problems, the weather was perfect for climbing, and the approach was easy. Zuba took over the responsibility to secure the first part of the route and make the first anchor, near a small tree, while I lead the two other parts.

Overall, we had a great time, good exercise of trad climbing and made a nice, easy route (Vanzemaljac - 5,5-), more than we hoped for from our first independent trad ascent up a cliff we did not know.
